Was thinking to buy a bench and some weights however I'm really interested in this. Problem is I'd have no idea how to make full use of it.

I thought about this, but then realized all the weights I could buy at this price. Maybe one day I'll have a cross trainer

Just got this delivered today, paid $1600 last week, then got an email they negotiated a lower price and were issuing me a refund. Costco rocks.

Yeah, the price is a little high. I am hoping to do more work quickly with this. Not having a spotter sucks and limits you no matter how much weight you have available. Time spent changing weights from exercise to exercise is hard to come by, for me. Previous best price was $1400.

I also just bought this for the higher price. And, Costco just emailed me to inform me that they were processing a $300 refund to me, (without me asking!). That is amazing customer service!

Bought this and later cancelled my order because with a non-upgradeable weight stack of only 165lb and a 2:1 ratio, the max resistance will only be 82.5lb. Would be nice for just accessory & isolation work, but I think I'm just going to buy a power rack and some free weights.

Can you do compound exercises with it that you would do on a rack and barbell? Like squats, deadlift, bench press etc. ?

Can you also do exercises with it that you would typically do with dumbbells?
