Does anyone know why the prices for SSDs have stayed so consent over the last several years? I am seeing similar prices for the same size SSD as I did 3 or 4 years ago.

they are probably manufacturing less. And there was an uptick in PC sales during covid because of stay at home.

From the context it is clear what you meant. Pricing of newer tech stays consistent for many reasons, but eventually, prices come down...
