Air conditioner window unit 5000 btu by G.E. and Arctic King for $50 in store. It says rollback price online. I went to the store and it scanned for $50. They were out of these window units all summer long during pandemic. I would buy it now to use next year.

I checked the stock for my zip code and it said they both were in stock at the only store in the area (some other stores in the state were out of stock). I tried to calling to check availibility rather than drive the 20+ minutes but was told that Walmart doesn't do that over phone and to check in store. When I got there a rep told me that they do not carry them this late in the year and they had none in stock.
Fu*k Walmart!
Edit: Brickseek says there are 4-5 in stock at that store.

Walmart employees are lazy as f*ck. Brickseek counts are almost never accurate, so unless you're already planning a trip there or are willing to take a gamble, it's generally not worth the hassle.

Brickseek has been very accurate for almost everything I have checked walmart for in Virginia. I even was told by several people before they didn't have these new clearance iphones and then asked one last person only to buy them from the girl who said they didn't have them...

Wait, so the employee bought them and then sold it to you?
