Usually they are the cheaper brushless ones. These are the XR a I can't remember which was the Labor Day deal but I haven't seen this set at 150 with a grinder.
Ahh you are right mine weren't XR series. It was the Tractor Supply deal. They priced match Amazon for the combo kit and you got the tool free

Best deal I got was at Tyler tool. Xr grinder with two 6ah batteries and a free tool with plenty of choices for 199
Yeah I needed to retire my 18volt drills so I was pretty excited. How much better is the brushless XR?
All metal chuck. It's leaps and bounds better. If you want to keep a drill for 10 years get the Xr. I'm not saying the brushed won't last but the Xr will be able to keep up with your needs for years to come.
