I own this chainsaw. It does the job and is quiet. If the chain does come off, it is a major pain to pit back on. Very long battery life to cut all day too.
I have this chainsaw. Bought it last month. It's a great and convenient mid-sized chainsaw with lots of power. That being said I bought it with the 2a battery and that thing doesn't last long at all for me. It will be fine for cleanup tasks but if you have a larger branch fall more than 10 inches wide and you plan on cutting it up you may have to charge it before its done. If you buy a battery buy a 5a.
Also note that although all 60v batteries work, these are technically part of their 60vHC line with HC batteries. I don't know if there is a performance difference between using a standard 60v battery and the HC ones and I'm not an electrician but the new batteries are supposed to provide more current for devices that need it.
The Snapper/Briggs & Stratton 60v batteries will work in this if you modify the plastic case or have a Greenworks case to put the battery guts in. I already have the Snapper chainsaw and that thing is incredibly stout.
I have a Greenworks 40v chainsaw, and I love this thing. I've used it to make ATV trails in my woods. I've had it for a year. I told my wife's brother-in-law if I had gotten it a few years ago I wouldn't have any trees left by now.
I disagree with the person who says it's a PITA to put the chain back on. You just take the side cover off, loosen the bar a little, feed the chain back on, and tighten everything back up. One thing I've learned is don't cut thin, dangling stuff with it. The jerk is what causes the chain to come off.
