Ive ordered over a dozen pairs of glasses from eyedictive. Its always going to be a discontinued/ old model but its also always going to be genuine. Order with confidence if this is a good deal on a normally overpriced brand take it
I'm guessing discontinued because I found them in their 2018 and 2019 catalogs but not 2020.
Serengeti are, in my opinion, the best. I've had Ray Ban and Maui Jim's and the lenses on Serengeti are just better: less distortion and the world actually looks better with them on
They last forever, too: I just don't have mine anymore because I lose them after a few years. And even if they break due to a hard fall, I had one with a crack down the middle and you just didn't notice if you put them on. If I wasn't short on cash, I'd jump on these immediately.

This is probably true for plastic lenses. These are real glass lenses which you never see on cheap sunglasses. There's only a handful of brands that use real glass lens. You can tell the difference 100%
I wish Slickdeals would ban posts from this website, Eyedictive, already. I am fairly certain crap from this store are all fake.
I bought a pair of glasses from here and it just felt fake. Light, plasticy, lens scratched super easily like it was plastic.
I agree to a point I will probably never buy from eyedictive. The serengeti might be a safer bet due to expense in cloning mineral lenses but in general luxottica probably has a back channel for fraud maybe overproduction of frames etc. all it takes is some molded plastic and viola!!! That's why I stick with non Lux brands.
Why is nobody else pointing out that this list price of $194.00 is insanely misleading? All it took was a google search to see the exact model already sells for about $100-$140 everywhere else.

I have to disagree. I've bought around 8-10 pairs of glasses from eyedictive (4 serengeti, ray ban + others). They were all completely genuine; no question about it. What I will say is that you are probably just finding out what many others are saying here - that most sunglasses are overpriced crap (especially luxotica).
I can tell you that of the Serengeti's that I have, the frame quality varies (depending on model/style) but the lenses are all absolutely the best. I will only wear Serengeti polarized these days.
Yes, knowledge is power. Please read more on this topic.
Cheap sunglasses cause your eyes to dilate more since it is darker. However, cheap sunglasses typically don't have as much UV protection. This leads to more eye damage. You only get one set of eyes, so protect them. Don't ever wear cheap sunglasses, especially the ones that they sell for 99 cents or give away for free at events.
Glass/mineral lens are more scratch resistant but heavier and easier to shatter. Don't use them during any sport activity that could cause them to shatter (baseball, airsoft, etc). The heft can also add to discomfort when wearing for a long time for some people. The plastic lens are not as clear (but can get pretty close), can get scratched much easier, much lighter in weight, and will not shatter from impact. Pick what you need for your use case.
The sunglasses I buy by the bucket at the 99 cent store look just as good and work just as well. And I don't cry when I lose a pair every week.
You've either never owned a pair of real sunglasses or have incredibly poor vision. The distortion and clarity are so terrible in cheap glasses it almost gives me a headache to wear them.
I purchased this deal and the glasses came today. I really love them. The clarity is insane compared to my knockarounds and nikes . I got the brown/brown ones . My only issue is one of the arms are bent way more than the other. I don't know if it's on purpose (for folding purposes) or I got a defective pair. Iwish I could include an image.
That said, if I ever splurge on glasses again, I'll be on the lookout for serengeti. Easily the best lenses I've ever seen through.
Received my ceriale's. They feel like good quality and light but lenses aren't dark enough for direct sun driving. Do they have deals on level 4 protection sunglasses?

I got mine too... Similar look to yours, one arm slightly more bent... Also, mine has a sticker on the supposed glass lens that says 'mineral lens' - instead of glass... Aren't these lenses supposed to be made of GLASS???

Great you mentioned that because I have the same bug/feature. I even sent an email to their support team to check if my glasses are genuine. Yet to receive a reply tho.

I just received my Serengeti Ceriale folding sunglasses and I'm impressed. The clarity on these beats the three Maui Jim's I own. Maybe I lucked out.
