There is no way to allow LAN traffic through the firewall unless you are connected via a wireless connection.
If using a wired Ethernet connection then there is no way to allow LAN traffic.

A cheap VPN will always provide the most secure service for your data.
a few cons...but dont worry. You are paying for the best service. And leaks...your ISP loves leaks. That is the best part of the VPN service is to leak your IP address sometimes....and getting a legal letter is nice considering there is nothing to do during the pandemic anyway.
And what is great is that they can share your surfing habits with third partys. The best in privacy here. We need good logs for a VPN service. Hope they keep those logs for years.

Others do it by being unable to produce logs even when legal action demands it. VPN Unlimited is not in either of these categories. In fact, it seems to reserve the right to monitor your online activities and share personally identifiable information with third parties to serve its "legitimate interests." Which basically means they can keep logs, a big 'NO NO' for us at Blokt.
This threat is real: in its privacy policy, VPN Unlimited states that it will hand over personal private data in order to comply with laws that require such disclosure.
We're comforted by VPN Unlimited's policy to only store personally-identifiable information (your IP address) for the duration of your session. But it is worrying that data can be handed over without your consent. VPN Unlimited is not a VPN for total anonymity.
VPN Unlimited's logging policy is disappointing. It is private enough for most, but let's look at what it does collect:
Original IP address
Browser type
Operating system
Device ID
Time zone
Connection type
WiFi network name
While other VPNs are learning and growing, KeepSolid VPN Unlimited is collapsing in on itself. Its little brother KeepSolid VPN Lite isn't any better, either.
Barring a major, publicized course correction, you're better off staying away.
This isn't a good thing. Being based in the US means that US law enforcement agencies can force the company to log and hand over customer data.
