TiVo sent me an email about a $50 off deal for a ChannelMaster outdoor TV antenna. Regular price is $89. With the coupon code TIVO the sell price is $39. Free shipping and no tax in NJ.

Folks, this antenna is overkill if the transmitters are closer than 30 miles.
This is a db4. For transmitters less than 30 miles away, a db4 is excellent. I have a CM db4 in the attic about 22 ft above ground. Added rabbit ears to get the VHF channels (8 and 10) in my area. Use tvfool.com the get an idea of what channels and which RF frequencies are in your area. Don't guess - know.
My mistake - this is a DB4, not a DB8 as I originally stated. These are primarily UHF antennas and would barely get VHF-hi unless you can get longer than normal "whiskers" - I think 10 inch whiskers are needed, but it has been a few years since I looked into antenna designs and built my own DB4, tuned to get RF8 and RF10, in addition to all the expected UHF RF channels. Use tvfool.com to get a map for YOUR LOCATION, directions for transmission towers and the frequencies.

Works with high VHF (7-13)as well, just not as high of a gain on those channels.

Thank you for clarifying about the vhf. I live 14 miles away from a vhf station and the reception is terrible with my flat antenna. I hope this will help the issue
