Though I usually like to buy game cartridges, Lego games are an exception where I like the digital downloads, because they are truly "pick up and play" games where I might have 20 minutes and feel like a break with a Lego game, and it's nice to not need to find and swap a cartridge. Anyway great deals here for huge amounts of entertainment.
I see Lego Movie 2 here -- I've never had that. It's been hovering about $15-20 last I saw; might try it at $12. I heard it was different in style from the first Lego Movie game; different developer.
I didn't see Lego City Undercover on the list, but I really recommend that one as well. it is basically a child-safe Grand Theft Auto. Fun for adults too -- tons of stuff to explore in a true open world. Well, you have to gradually unlock some parts of the world but once that's done, you can really wonder around and think "hey, I've never been in that building before" or "never flew off that rooftop yet" so a huge amount to keep you (or kids) busy for a long time. You can even ride around in a train once you get access to the stations. And boats to cruise around the waterways.
They are actually pretty fun for adults and children, hard to "mess up" so good for even younger kids, and have a lot to do so plenty of hours of simple fun. So if you need another game to play local co-op with your kids and sick of some of the other options these work great for a while. I personally can only take so much of minecraft myself.
Only downside, for me, is they only 2 player so if you have more than one kid you have to switch off. Because God forbid they actually play together instead of demanding I play with them 🤣.
Another less maddening option for adult/kid co-op is Rayman Legends. I'm not sure if it's on sale right now though. It's also not great for younger kids as it can be a bit now technical/frustrating in some levels.

Nailed it with Lego games and rayman legends
My 5yo loves Minecraft Dungeons and occasionally needs help with the levels so I pick up the sticks. It's a bit boring for me to play alone but very fun with others. 7yo and 9yo like it less for some reason but will play sometimes.
5 and 7 like Mario+rabbids kingdom battle, it's fun to see them figure out the puzzles and levels. Again a bit boring for just me solo. There is a coop mode but it's better to just comment on their next move and help that way.
7 and 9yo still crush NBA Playgrounds 2k, it's like NBA Jam. I play with them sometimes and typically lose.

Any thoughts on Lego Worlds? I see it's $8.99 and I think I recall hearing good things. Looking for coop with a younger kid (6). We had tried one of the Lego StarWars in the past but it didn't click for her or me (might be better now that she's older).

Knights and Bikes is another great co-op with kids. Also been enjoying Child of Light which has a great asymmetrical co-op mechanic.

Lego Worlds plays differently than nearly every other Lego game (Lego Movie 2 was based on it and is similar). It is much more focused on open world exploration and creativity and doesn't have an actual story. There's also a lot of randomization in the worlds it generates so the missions tend to be bland and generic. It's not necessarily a bad game, just not at all like the games based on famous movies and other properties.
