Compared with other recent deals Red Pocket has had, this is just so-so. They recently had 5GB for $210, so here they're offering an extra 2GB for an add'l $30, with all the other aspects of service equal. I don't see that as anything to rave about, but it may appeal to some. Good that it was posted for those who may be interested.
So I currently have an unlocked Pixel 3 on Verizon prepaid (6 GB/mo for $35) and tether often.
Looks like I'd lose the ability to tether on Verizon (CDMA) but could tether on ATT and Tmobile's networks so maybe it'd be okay in most areas? No idea how that works if my phone is currently on a Verizon tower when I try to tether. I imagine it could be a problem though?

I used to get disconnects, sometimes as short as ten seconds, on my calls with Red Pocket's AT&T GSM, prepaid for a year.
Anyone experience similar with their Verizon and Sprint plans?
I came from Net10 (on Verizon towers) and switched to RedPocket a few months on the same Verizon towers. Call quality has become absolutely horrible and get disconnected VERY frequently. This occurs about 50% of the time which is extremely frustrating especially since I use this for my work. Visual voicemail is an added monthly fee that was included with Net10's pricing. We're stuck with them for another 9-10 months, but once that is over I'm switching out immediately.

Yes, immediately. . . after 10 months.
My wife must have Verizon, I have been considering RP, but this concerns me.
Any idea why? What phone are you using? Could it be CDMA vs VoLTE or some APN issue?

Random no service every few months as they did not recharge my plan. They need to do this on monthly basis and they miss once in a while.

When you sign up you have to choose which network to use. You can only use one, can't switch without changing the SIM.

Edited to say, my bad... It wasn't opening in the ebay app but cut and paste into a browser worked for me.
