    the Blue version is frequently the same price(or cheaper) than the green version... (especially the 1TB SSD)

    what's the real difference between the two? is it a difference that I can notice, as an average PC user?

    Spend the extra money to get the blue drive if you are going to store files. The blue is rated to last 70% longer/durable. If your need is just to speed up a laptop or desktop used for web email or internet surfing, get the cheaper green drive.

    There is not a big price difference between the two when there are deals.
