"Ghosting" is a limitation on certain keyboards. It means the keyboard will only recognize a certain number of buttons pushed down at once.

So say you are holding down A, S, D and F. If you then press G, the computer may not recognize that keystroke. That's what "ghosting" refers to. During normal usage, this is no problem. But often times during gaming, you often press and hold many keys at once. "Anti-ghosting" works to ensure that those keystrokes are properly transmitted

Non-standard layout doesn't mean it's garbage, this is just fine as a daily driver for most people and it's very cheap. The issue with these low priced chinese keyboards is that they often have poor QC resulting in unresponsive keys due to bad soldering.

It's still an annoying compromise to have to waste space storing items you won't use for another year or so
