    Interesting. Might try this. I jumped on the walnut shell stuff in a recent deal after discovering that the clay stuff is sourced from strip mining. It is far superior to the clay in clumping and odor control. It's lighter weight, though, so I had to get a deeper litter tray to avoid it getting kicked out more.
    I tried this stuff last year, didn't work well for us, inferior clumping to Dr. Elsey's.

    I'm surprised there are a lot of very negative reviews, both top rated and most recent. Just wanted to point this out, I was ready to click Buy with a 4.5 star rating but read some of the problems people had and changed my mind!

    I used to use this, until we found Dr. Elsey's. Elsey's clumps much better and doesn't smell up as much. We have 3 cats, if we use 2 boxes and scoop once a day, we usually only have to do a complete change out maybe every 3-4 weeks with Dr. Elsey.

    Excellent price. My fave litter (unscented only versions) personally, but different cats like different litter so success will always vary a bit.

    I use this with the Litter Robot and it works great. Also prefer it over Elsey's. It's not as dusty and has better odor control in my opinion
