M12 Fuel hex impact, hammer drill, 3/8 ratchet, inflator combo for $299 [homedepot.com]

Other stuff is on sale also

Thanks! Ordered the 1/4 m12 impact with hammer drill, two batteries (one being a 4.0) and a 3/8" ratchet for 220. Should be here today. My gen 1 impact is becoming unreliable unfortunately.

how this kit compare with following kit?
$10 more, fuel version of hackzall, (2553-20): Brushless Motor delivers 1,300 in. lbs and 0-3,300 RPM impact driver and a bigger battery?

Nice find! If you need both, then it's a good deal for fuel components.

I use the following things very often for DIY home junk and racing:
M12 inflator (6AH battery is a must have, it butchers the small 1.5AH batteries)
M12 Fuel hex impact
M12 3/8 ratchet - surprisingly useful for tight spaces
M18 1/2 Impact

That's the one I was referring to in my comment but I opted for the 3/8 ratchet as I already have a hackzall.

.
Take note:
The M12 ratchet they are putting in a bunch of the packages is not an M12 Fuel when the other tool in the package is an M12 Fuel.

While in most cases Fuel tools are much better, the non-fuel ratchet has a much smaller head and is easier to use in places with tight access. Minor difference in max torque is not important.

Looking for some m18 8.0 or 12.0 batteries, quick charger, and miter saw. Any way to get a good deal on batteries? i noticed how people returned batteries for a better deal, would the inverse be possible?

Better deal imo - but you don't get the surge fuel impact

I'm torn between the two-- I have a full size sawzall already, and I use an impact almost every day, so I think I'd rather the impact be the better tool and use the non fuel sawzall for more light duty branch cutting

FYI if you plan on using it a lot I'd think hard about getting the Fuel Surge Impact, it is outstanding and a lot quieter.

Agreed, I opted for the non fuel 3/8 myself as well because the Fuel is a big ole fatty mc fat fat

On those, you are the breaking torque power anyways
