Fenix 5 is worlds beyond. I love mine.
It's the lens not the bezel. It's not worth you can put a screen protector on and call it a day!

I bought a pack of screen protectors for 6 bucks and still on the first a couple of months in. Barely notice it is there and it's a running watch so not exactly good looking in the first place 😂. I would just find it hard to pay that premium for a smart watch since they seem more "disposable" compared to a normal watch
Yep. Sapphire is silly Imo. Pack of glass screen protectors is all you need.
I think its the exact opposite foolish enough to spend $100 on sapphire when you can just slap on a $1 tempered glass sceen protector. And this is a smartwatch with a life span of 5 years max before the battery is completely dud or the processing power is slow and the tech is totally outdated.
Well if it was a swiss automatic watch that will be passed from gen to gen sapphire makes sense!
I would take this over a Fenix 5. I have a Suunto Core and a Garmin Vivoactive 3 and this looks like a perfect way to replace both at once. The battery life, altimeter, barometer to go backpacking, and all the gps bells and whistles for regular exercise (surf, cycle, running).
For me, the Fenix would just be a bulky oversized replacement for the Vivoactive.
