Direct tools outlet will have Frenzy Friday Event with many items on sale for save up to 50%. Shipping is $7 flat rate so it would be good opportunity to get few items on sale together and save on shipping.
Promotion valid through 9/27/2020 at 11:59 EST. Available in store and online. While supplies last. Limit of 5 like items per customer. Not available in all store locations.
Please note that most items are FACTORY BLEMISHED or CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED.
The Ridgid octane Jigsaw has been 79.99 on the site for months. Now it's on sale for $100 🙄
Interesting...the RIDGID 5.5 Amp Corded Compact Router listed here is $79.99. Back in April it was on sale at DTO for $50 and when that deal died, the price reverted to $79.99. Yet, the DTO site is indicating that that same price today on this tool is $79.99, 20% off the regular price of $99.99.
Looks like another instance of a vendor marking up prices just to have a "sale" where the item's "sale" price is actually the regular price.
that is the dto buisiness model in a nutshell. honestly almost every one of these blowout sale events have maybe... MAYBE one tool that is cheaper than it has been in weeks/months... but typically the tools all stay the same price, and drop a few bucks occasionally to lure people into making a purchase, and possibly lumping another non sale item in just to save on the flat rate shipping.
i find it slightly annoying that EVERY SINGLE DAY the daily promo email gets posted to slickdeals. half of the time there isnt any actual deal, and the item has been the same price for weeks.. im pretty sure slickdeals is reasonably heavily brigaded by DTO, as any comment critical of them, usually ends up downvoted by mid-day.

$19.99 for the 18v angle grinder is really tempting, and I already own one of them. Would be nice to keep a wire brush on one and an abrasive wheel on the other.

Picking one up. The kinda thing you're glad you got when you need it (versus calling a plumber). I have the larger ryobi and it already paid for itself. Have a manual 25' and it'll do but I'll spend $50 for the convenience.

Can this angle grinder be used for polishing/waxing cars ? Does it have speed control or only one speed ?

For polishing ur car your looking at the wrong tool.
Worst case if you have a HF by you, they have cheap polishers that'll suffice for most diy people trying to maintain their cars
