Technically, an air fryer is more like an air impingement oven (Seen in professional kitchens). Air impingement "Strikes" the food directly with hot air, while a convection oven "Stirs" the air around the food. They are related, but different. (I used to manage a line of air impingement conveyor ovens - Mostly used in pizza restaurants, so I used to get asked that all the time)
I have this air fryer. I use it pretty much every day, for everything from toast to french fries to cooking Italian sausages. It's also great for reheating leftovers, or melting the cheese on a cheeseburger.

After 10 months, the fan started making a grinding noise. 2 emails with Cuisanart, and they had a free replacement on the way to me. I'd definitely recommend Cuisanart based on this experience.

I suspect the fan issue may have been due to me having greasy things too close to the fan, so from here on out, I'll cook the sausages and other things that might splatter on the lower rack slot.
The basket is stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. On the odd occasion I have created a mess on it, i just put some Dawn Power Wash on it for a few minutes. That stuff is miraculous.

The baking sheet on models that I have is nonstick and not dishwasher safe, and is prone to staining. I always line my baking sheet with foil and don't really care about its appearance.

Both the baking sheet and basket in this particular model are stainless steel and dishwasher safe.

There are several Facebook groups dedicated to this awesome tiny oven. Well worth joining if you are new to learning to cook in it.

I have several of the TOA-60 models and rarely use my big oven now. I bought all the kids these "tiny ovens" as we call them for Christmas last year as well as my dad and workplace. Then several employees bought their own.

This is an excellent tiny oven. All of mine consistently run 50 degrees hotter than the temp I dial in, as the OP mentioned, so adjust accordingly, but that's easy enough to remember.

I think I'm going to snag this model too LOL. Thanks and repped.

I heard the basket is not dishwasher safe and is difficult to clean. Is that true?

It's not fun to clean, but I put it in the oven pan, and leave it in the sink to soak for a bit. It comes clean when I take it out.

This thing is fantastic, gets used multiple times a day in this house. It has some pretty advanced features for the price (Top fan, multiple burner zones, etc.). It does run about 50 degrees hot on most settings, just takes a bit of trial and error.

I have the Cuisinart air fryer (only) that looks just like this, but not digital. I love it and use it all the time.. I'm thinking of upgrading to this to free up some counter space in my small kitchen, so I can toss the 4 slice toaster that's hogging a lot of space. Can someone vouch for the toaster aspect of this one?

Same experience here! I've got the manual version and we use it all the time. As others have said the basket can be a little annoying to clean but I just throw in the sink and scrub. Some folks are mentioning dishwasher so may try. Only issue is our dog hates the dinging noise when it goes off.

3 out of 4 knobs on my TOA-60 are broken. Hopefully this one has better knobs

Joining a Facebook group for an oven. That sounds like a big commitment.
