It is hard to trust Amazon any more, the 2-day shipping for Prime is not 2-days any more it can be 2-5 days. I posted a review for an expensive headphone saying it broke buy something else, Amazon told me it's not going to post it. How do you trust what is being sold there anymore?

I don't bother getting prime. Never found it necessary. It's easy to find fillers to go around free shipping. I don't care for other benefits of prime. Why did Amazon not post your review? They have some guidelines, like if your review included hateful language, etc.

I should have challenged since there was nothing hateful except don't buy it. Why would amazon post something which says don't buy it?

I see reviews that say don't buy all the time. I bet it was for a different reason that your post got denied.

I bought a piece of furniture solid wood sold by amazon.com that was cracked and was too heavy to return it back. Posted review with pictures. They rejected it once. Posted it again and got rejected again. Was not ready to waste more of my time.

They for sure deny negative reviews for products sold directly by amazon. Not sure about 3rd party.

That's for a different reason. Amazon doesn't approve reviews that have to do with shipping issues, like a product that got damaged during shipping. It's in their policy. I learned it the hard way myself.

Only reason I am keeping prime is for the kids entertainment, I try to buy from other retailers if I can, people like us made amazon to what it is today, now it's too big so they can afford to give poor service and still get away with it, I miss the prime membership when it was really something meaningful

I've read other posts from other reviewers stating the same thing about Amazon refusing to post their reviews. I guess it doesn't matter as I'm buying less and less from Amazon, eBay, Walmart and other crap retailers. Shopping more a smaller businesses. Only hit the big names when I can't find what I need.

Possibly due to the fact that reviews posted on a product page should be more about the actual product, not shipping damage, about the seller, or other random information.

Personally, I get somewhat frustrated when I check out reviews to see if the product is quality, but everyone is complaining about a shipping problem, a bad customer service experience, or that they had an issue with the return process.

Read 40 reviews, still no clue if the product itself is of quality.

Just assumptions on that though.
