Worked for me going back to the early 70s in Jr. High School, I remember my mom buying it for me by the case at the local AFB Commissary for $0.15/can. I'd pop open a can almost every day when I got home from school and chow down. It tastes the same today as I remember from back then, even the can seems to have pretty much the same label. The only thing I think has changed is the meat-pasta ratio. Back then, meat>pasta, now pasta>meat. But I still buy it from time to time, if only for the nostalgia taste. The same reason why I occasionally buy "Circus Peanuts" candy - you know, those orange colored marshmallow thingys in a quasi-peanut shape? Brach's still makes them, along with many copycats in the marketplace. They all taste the same, only the texture and hardness or softness is different. Lots of people would say they're nasty, but I still like them for the same reason as Chef Boy-ar-dee stuff. Nostalgia.
when I was in college, I'd grab a can of this for work lunch and just eat it out of the can, cold. I'd always stare at the spoon or fork wondering how bad this stuff is that in 10min, it stained the plastic so quick.
Whether this is food is questionable 😂🤣

$0.88 a can at Walmart (or $3.52 for a 4-pack) but pickup only

This deal is slightly cheaper by only 16¢ but is delivered...

So whether this is a deal or not is questionable

Throw some mozzarella cheese on top, then microwave it. It becomes the magic.

Oh yes! Circus peanuts. candy corn and pink wintergreen candies (just the powdery ones that look like solid pepto bismol)

Ah yes that famous chef "Boyardee" Smilie . Good stuff but prefer the cheese ravioli.
