Please learn me Paw. Ive pretty much narrowed it down to the glorious GMMK but still down want to pull the trigger. I needa 10 key so my choices are a bit limited vs the "gamer" 60%.

You should get Corsair K70 MK2. When it is on sale, it is about same price as this and it is way better

I got my huntsman tkl for about a month, it's a perfect gaming keyboard, no complaint at all. But when it goes to typing, it's a nightmare. The optical switch nearly doesn't have any travel, the moment you touch it, it's already pressed. If you have lots typing works, I do not recommended this keyboard at all, you gonna be dealing with lots typo. But again, for gaming it's great.

I do recommend G pro X as well for all purpose use, I switched from Huntsman from G pro X, the G Pro is well balanced for gaming and typing, but huntsman is pretty much gaming only.

Roccat Vulcan 80. Its my first mechanical keyboard and has been phenomenal. Works well for gaming as well as daily use. It has brown switches and has quick response time when hit. They are a bit loud, so if you are wanting something quieter that this wouldn't be the keyboard. You just have to try different boards and see what you like. And if you can find them on sale its even better.

For quality mechanical, Leopold, Varmilo, and Ducky are considered some of the best. GMMK is better if you really want that hotswap option, but Leopold and Varmilo will be higher quality. Vortex is another brand that offers semi-programmability and unique layouts, but may not be as well built... still a great keyboard for the price and worth checking out.

Leopold, Varmilo, and Ducky all offer several standard full-size options. If you want something different, you can look at the Leopold FC980M or Vortex Tab 90/90M, both offering full-size in a more compact layout. You can find all of these on mechanicalkeyboards.com.

Anything in this price range without dedicated volume/media controls is an outright rip-off.... Hard pass......!!!!
