you need to select "subscribe and save" first. then change quantity to 2 after.
during the past couple of months i see deal editors and posters kept posting the wrong order. lead to very confusing steps. especially after the deal was expired. people dont know what caused it.
i myself was in this situation many times until.i figured the order was completely wrong. at first i changed the quantity to 2. then select subscribe and save like it said. but then i didnt see anything change. so i re selected 2 again after selecting s and s. then the deal expired. so nothing really worked.

After the fiasco of Amazon changing s&s orders after I place them, I no longer buy anything on subscribe and save.
