Good price, but not MFi certified contrary to the claim. Slightly loose fit too

How were you able to check? I checked searching the brand on the Apple site and it listed a bunch of cables by this brand, but with no model on the Amazon listing I couldn't match the exact model 100%.

Anything you can pass along on how to confirm/discredit MFI certification would be appreciated.

Ah, I dunno on that one. Not saying his test is wrong, I'm just not familiar with that kind of test. It looks like the listing you linked is a little different. Same pic, but different prices and review count (6k+ vs 3k+). Maybe a slight difference in model or release?

I might keep my order and see how it performs. Fakespot gave the reviews an A so I thought it looked like a pretty trusted product. I'm usually more a fan of Anker and others but I needed something inexpensive for my daughter who keeps stealing mine lol.

Off late new updates of Apple IOS doesn't charge the iPhone without an Apple charger. I am skeptical with these non Apple chargers. Apple's new way of making money when sales are down.
I just bought an Anker charger and cable. No issues on our iOS 14 devices.

Nice post op. Thanks.
Might want to change the post to SILVER only. Code doesn't work for gold, red or black cables.

I call BS. I have half a dozen Apple devices being charged every day - all from generic chargers. I don't own a single Apple charger besides those shitty 5W chargers they used to throw in with iPhone and iPad purchases.
Go shit in Android garden.

I moved on from standard usb/lightning to usb-c/lightning because of the fast charging support. Seen drastic reduction of charging time.
