MusclePharm Combat Protein Powder, 6-pounds for $26.99 at Costco ($33.99 Online)

Swung by Costco today and noticed they had the MusclePharm Combat Protein Powder for $26.99. This was for the Cookies & Cream flavor, but the Chocolate Milk flavor will likely be the same price as they're that way online (where it's currently $33.99). Valid until 10/25/20.

Not bad for $4.50/lb.

It's $13 off, and was $39.99 normally at the Tustin Costco. Last time this was on sale, someone mentioned their store also had it for $39.99 regularly, so I think that's just every location.

Really good price for the amount you get but damned, it's just too sweet for me. Same with the chocolate flavored one. I find it even sweeter than chocolate ISO100

Mix either flavor with enough milk though and it's good.

One lab (test tube) study in 2018 showed a possible connection...

The Israeli researchers agree that it is far too soon to conclude that artificial sweeteners cause metabolic disorders, but they and other scientists are convinced that at least one—saccharin—has a significant effect on the balance of microbes in the human gut.

I bought this because it's low carb and has the right amount of protein vs total calories. It's also super cheap. However I totally agree with ManoloD. It's overly sweet! Tastes about 3x sweeter than other proteins.

In case it matters to you, this protein uses sucralose (basically Splenda) instead of more expensive sweeteners like stevia, erythritol, or xylitol.

people on here talking about bacteria and artificial sweeteners and how it effects your body. this is old news. much of what we eat daily CAN have negative effects. it all depends on lifestyle and how active you are. if you exercise and lift weights several times a week then its safe to be drinking protein shakes.

C&C $23 at my Costco, picked up a bag and mixed it with coffee and almond milk. It tastes fine, especially at this price.
