Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
I meant even at this price, it's not a deal for such outdated technology. It's a fine product standalone, but for what you are getting it's really worth closer to $250 if people weren't obsessed with branding

True. I think in most cases you're better off getting something newer. However, at this point, I think it better fills very specific use cases. For me, I'm going to mount it on a wall in my garage. And, it'll integrate with my existing Sonos system, obviously. Win-win for me; though, I realize that's not the case for everyone.
I guess what I'm saying is, people who may be interested in this, at this time, already know what it is and what it's not.

It's not the branding, it's the ecosystem.
I want it to put in my patio as a standalone music player. These probably still sound better than any other smart-connected speakers at this price. And it'll play nicely with all my other Sonos speakers spread out throughout my home.

The biggest risk is they EOL this like they did other products. Will this work with the S3 controller?
At some point they are going to add 7.1 functionality, etc, and these old products won't support it.

The only input is optical. No HDMI, no AirPlay, no Alexa, no Google Assist. So many NO.
So-Nos-thanks
