Rising Storm 2 is a freaking awesome FPS. Walks that line between realism and arcade shooter. Reminds me a lot of the old Rainbow Six/Rogue Spear but a little more on the arcade shooter side. It's not as brutal as a Verdun or ARMA but it's not as comically unrealistic as a COD. It's in my opinion the best Vietnam era FPS. Plus, you're actually rewarded for aimed shots (liver, heart, neck), actual commander role that is very helpful in maps, and a very rewarding feeling of when you come out on top.

Highly recommend picking it up especially for free.

This is like the 5th free epic store game I've got that I previously considered paying for. At this point I'm thinking I should just wait for every game I've ever wanted to inevitably be free on the epic store.
