G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 4000 (PC4 32000) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model F4-4000C15D-16GVK
Price dropped a bit ago, not sure how much longer. Good to pair with 3080 and a 10850K? Hopefully one of those Asus TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS that were going recently will handle it well.
Pcpartpicker says it has 7.5ns fwl, so fast! Numbers!

I think this is a decent price, but only if you have the extra money. You can get decent 16gb 3600 cl 16 for like $60 less. There's diminishing returns above 3600 cl16, the money is better spent upgrading your CPU or gpu. Also, some motherboards don't support 4000, so there's that to consider as well.

I have always gone with budget RAM before, but if I am getting a 10850K and a Asus TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS, I can take advantage of it right? Even if I probably never perceive it, at least I will never have that "what could have been" remorse.
