I got. a free ecobee 3 .Of course the instructions did not include my setup so I had to spend some time with the google to get it working 100%. Much nicer than the honeywell I had. They are also sending me a $25 prepaid for doing a self install (Amren).

It's free ($125 rebate) if you use the energy provider listed. I'm with ComEd not Ameren in Illinois, so the rebate is $75.
