Click on your Account, then Memberships and Subscriptions. From there you can click cancel without waiting 6 months. You can do it right away unlike a lot of other magazines sites where you have to wait. With those sneaky sites which you have to uncheck boxes that sometimes get rechecked on the next page, use a service like Privacy. Com and create virtual one time cards that can't ever get charged again. You don't have to worry with amazon, even if you forgot, there's a button to refund you for the unused portion of your subscription if you changed your mind if you don't like it.
You could cancel auto renew immediately after placing order.
Don't bother. These are full of ads. Not really the readers digest we know from childhood days.

It's 5 issues for 6 months btw. First book ships after Thanksgiving.

I don't like how there's the notice that the publisher gets all your information. I feel like I'm just going to get slammed with calls and magazine offers. I ordered it, but definitely considering cancelling.

That's fair, but it's 30¢ per issue. If I get three articles, and two jokes out of that, it's certainly worth 30¢.
