This brand used to have a bunch of free after points stuff at Sears ("rolling" as mentioned above, paid with points and got points back) all the time, I picked a bunch of their headphones up years ago...I don't think any of them lasted long.
cheaply made and difficult to get warranty replacement.
ymmv on quality/value. speakers are less likely to break than ANC headphones but I'd still be wary
*EDIT:I see multiple people saying "this is not the same Nakamichi". it's the same logo. same website. I still have warranty claim emails from [email protected] in my inbox. Company profile says started in 1940s... What's your source this is a different company?

given, seems to be mostly well reviewed...but when more recently (ie less likely paid) are mostly terrible it's a red flag.
