On sale from $59.99 to $49.99. Extra $5 off with coupon: W44CKUSN.

0.008 Lux qualifies it as a Basic Starlight which should have good low-light performance.

Most people are probably better served by a narrower field of view so they can maximize detail. Here's the link to the 3.6mm version (more zoom than original link). Same code brings price down to $45

Here's a comparison that youtuber did with this Amcrest and 3 other cameras

The review is quick, but does a decent job as an intro quick review.

Note - you can tune the parameters of the cameras ( especially Amcrest and Hikvision ) to get better images, and also you can tune them just to capture reflective license plates ( check out the ipcamtalk lpr section for more on this - it is a bit of an "art form" )
Amcrest is just an importer/reseller. They don't make anything. The cams are rebranded Dahua so the same applies.

That said, the ban is only for US government and contractors. No prohibition as far as you using them as a private party.

I am hoping for a Dahua/Amcrest 1/1.8 inch sensor starlight turret - need one for my application.

Question, do dahua cams work under the "Private" make on an Amcrest NVR?
