Saw this ad and figured it could be a good alternative for people missing the silver screen / wanted to host some sort of COVID friendly party/gathering. Private theater screen with a decent selection of movies.

Pretty great deal considering. If it was in my area id do it. Couple of friends. Ends up being cheaper than a regular one.

Not a bad first date spot either. Renting the whole place for you and your girl. Cheaper than some dinners

LOL I know someone who is a raging Jurassic Park fan. This would be a cool thing to do, since it's no longer available on the big screen.

Wish they would throw in a couple sodas and a big popcorn. nod

Going to pay 8 hours worth, and throw the coolest lan party. Wish I could invite more.
Wait, if you can't bring in your own food...I suppose that's the catch.
I wonder where all the plugs are?

Surprised none in the SF bay area (unless you count Brentwood, which would really be a stretch).

Also, the list of movies to choose from is meh...

If they had LOTR, it'd be a no-brainer for me.

Yikes what is that selection of movies? Lots of no-name titles and old movies. How do you convince anyone to join you to watch Monsters Inc in a private movie theater? and just ONE film? I would love if they did a thing where you could watch a series of movies like Lord of the Rings and Avengers.

You have to pay an additional $250 "catering fee" to bring in outside food. You cannot bring in any food that requires remaining heated and it cannot be food already sold at the theater yikes. You will still have advertisements before the movie unless you ask.

A friend of a friend just did this in Texas. It was a socially distant movie outing for the kids. Think there were only 20 people and way spread out. My friend said it was great.

Starting at $99. Anyone been charged more or know if they charge more for certain movies or something?

Got a XX year anniversary coming up... Wish I could pick my own or something.

Still, kinda fun date night on the anniversary!

Can they show sporting events instead of movies? Like if you pay for a PPV will they let you show it?
