I think this is the only auto-empty vacuum that has a bagless docking station.

Reviews seem generally good, with like 10% of folks saying the mapping is unusably bad and they had to return it. Any feedback here?

I got one from Costco 2 weeks ago at $399 and love it. It's my first robo vac and have nothing to compare it to tho

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this model and Costco's? might be worth a return for $65 difference

I thiiiink this is the same Shark IQ I bought last year on BF and it was ultimately returned. The vac was very loud while vac'ing, attempting to climb, and emptying...It did great in cleaning, but just too loud for us. Returned in favor for the Roborock S4 and absolutely would recommend you do the same. We gave the IQ to my parents and they returned it. So, take what you will from that.

Another thing my wife couldn't get over was the bulkiness of the station. The S4 fits under our plant table out of site, while this had to sit out in the open, an eyesore.

We got this a year ago on a Bed, Bath, and Beyond deal. For the price it has been worth it. It is loud, especially emptying to the base, but we run it while we are gone so it's not an issue. The mapping has been frustrating, but doable. We have a large area (2500 sq ft). It does a good job charging and restarting but has a hard time finding 2 rooms down a small hallway. Only gets them 1/3 of the time. The cleaning/suction itself has been very good. It's not perfect, but you probably won't find another self emptying vacuum this good at this price. It would be excellent for an open floor plan.

Got this last black friday. It does a good job. It did take over a month to figure out my map. It gets stranded now and then. I thought it died the other week but I just needed to power cycle the switch on the side.

Be careful running it when your not home if you have or get pets. The first time I had a scrape puppy poo out of the brush was the last time it ran unsupervised.

I really like mine. I've had it for a year. Yeah, it's loud, but it does an amazing job on carpet and due to the design, hair doesn't get stuck in the brushes. The mapping feature seems to have gotten better over time. Biggest pet peeve is sometimes hair or Cheerios get stuck in the vacuum flap, and it won't run again without clearing it.

I had this, is horrible. Mapping was never completed after more than 3 weeks of daily use on a 1500 sqft floor plan. It's loud, sounds like it has a combustion engine. It would run out of battery cleaning a very small area over and over. The self empty can is very nice but the vacuum and software are subpar. Look elsewhere.

Went for a Roborock S6 and couldn't be happier.

Got this during mother's day. Initially we were kinda off about it but now I love it. Bad is mapping / app is very basic. But I don't care about mapping part. 100% of our flooring downstairs is wood/stone combo and super impressed with the suction / cleaning part.

We turn it on before going to bed and let it do it's thing Smilie

Had ours since last Christmas and it is basically unusable. Very light use. Map is completely worthless, and the bot itself has a slow list to the right and doesn't travel in a straight line anymore. Often it will just spin around in circles. Frequently vacuums the same area repeatedly, while ignoring others.

Suction is good, the base works well, and it is easy to empty, but the navigation is positively HORRID. Might as well have a dumb bump-and-go bot as it operates very similarly to that. Small rooms you might be fine, but don't count on this to clean an entire floorplan.

This doesn't clean edges\corners. I have small carpet and debris around edges don't get cleaned. A tiny bump sends the robot in entirely different direction instead of continue straight.
