So, I did something else. I have Iphone 6S Plus and was looking forward to deals on iPhones but none of them are exciting. Instead I saw Samsung run a black friday like deal on the day that Apple was unveiling the iPhone 12. So, I snagged a S20 plus with 5G. Added applicable discounts and the final price as $737.38. I did use a cash back site which was giving 10% back but also getting 3% from Bank of America Credit card for online purchase. So, you get back 13% in cashback. I won't open new phone until they finalize the trade-in discount after they accessed my trade in phone. I feel like I got a good deal but wanted to see what you guys think?

-100 GB of data before throttling instead of 40 GB + rollover
-HBO Max (this is $15 / month by itself)

I currently have 3 iPhones and 2 Apple Watches on a Mobile Share Advantage 32 plan, and it looks I'll be upgrading to Elite for all 3 lines, which should cost me about another $15/month. I have a FAN account as well, which (I think) means Extra isn't available and Elite is the price of Extra for me? Not completely clear on this and I would take Extra if it would save me money. HBO Max is nice, but the price increase is paying for it anyway, and it's not needed.
I'm trading in an iPhone X 256GB in great condition, which I just paid off after 30 months. It actually still feels new to me so I'm fine with committing to a 12 Pro for another 30 months.
