so i went back in to get them to get something kind of print out that my trade in was 100$ (iPhone 8 in perfect condition).
they said. they can't print out such thing, cuz the only it printed it out is whats in your hand.
but your phone was 100$ and it will get the full credit, the credit will hit your account with in 2 bill periods.
so i dont know, what kind of receipts/print out people are getting from the store. (please post it here so people know what to expect when they go trade in)
the att corporate store at the mall only gave me a register receipt. no full page print out
i did a trade in in store today. and my print looks like this.
so im feeling kinda cheated cuz it shows 0$. but associate said, dont worry the system shows 100$ trust us.
So I asked why does it shows $0. He said if you get full credit for the trade, they zero it out.
Anyone shows $0 on their receipt
How do I post a picture on my phone
gonna go back to them tomorrow, and show them why my print out doesn't say same as yours
what state was this from if you dont mind asking.
mine is in Orange County CA

he said that, because i did the upgrade on my line online with the promotion, this transaction is meant for me to send my *trade in* phone through the mail to their processing center.
but i have decided to not send the phone myself but going to the store instead to trade in my phone.
so my brother said, the clerk in store just continue the online transaction and sending in your "trade in" phone in your behalf.
on the $0 on my print out means, they didn't charge me for sending it in on my behalf. so the print out is just a transaction between them taking the phone from me to send it it. and all the details is in their system.
this is why our print out is different, from those that did the line "upgrade" and "trade in" in store. and that theirs show everything very clearly.
so im guessing you did it like me....upgraded online, and walked in the trade in phone? yes correct?
hope this helps other and put some minds at ease.
Before, I called loyalty and they also mentioned that the promo will go down to $700 tomorrow. Operator mentioned that as long as I place the order today the trade in $800 for the 8plus will lock in.
Not looking forward to the upcoming issues if they don't honor the 8plus for $800 off. I'm sure there are many of us in the same situation. Hope we can all help each other out with lessons learned.

Did they ask for the IMEI of your trade phone?
