Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible

Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

So I think there is some confusion on how the bill credits work. I confirmed with T-Force (twitter) that the bill credits are for whatever is in addition to the normal trade-in value of your old phone to get you to the promotional trade-in price.

For example, I am trading in an iPhone XS Max 256GB - the trade in value of that phone is $361.

The promotional trade-in value of the iPhone XS Max is $500. I will receive $361 in a lump sum bill credit, then I will receive $139 in bill credits over 30 months, or $4.63 per month.

I originally was told by T-Force (twitter) that I can only have 1 promo on my line at a time and so if after 24 months I decide to upgrade to the next iPhone, I would lose the remaining bill credits (or $27.78). I can live with losing that $27.78 - but if I do indeed get it then even better! (based on an earlier link here which says it moves the credits off your line and to your account: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...al-credits )

If Costco does end up doing this deal for the entire amount in a rebate - it would be great, but wondering if it is worth $139 to go crazy calling various Costco's in my area and having to run over there once I find the model I want. Depending on what phone you're trading in - the value will be different though, and the "bonus" amount which is in bill credits will be different too.
That's confusing. From my understanding with Sprint, it would just be $500/24 or 30 months and that's the bill credit amount you'd receive each month.

Where did you get below information? T-Mobile official promotion text does not mention anything about it. Does that mean if I have any spare iPhone which I was not using with T-Mobile wont be an eligible trade-in device?

"Trade in / turn-in a qualifying Apple iPhone in T-Mobile branded channels (Original iPhone through the 11 series) that was used on the network from August 2, 2020 - October 2, 2020"
I believe that's a requirement for the loyalty $200 rebate.

So we can keep our same sprint grandfathered plan?

Congrats. You are the first person I know that have gotten past the 2+1 $100 add additional line restriction.
I have read here and on other forums of others who were able to get their plan code modified without any substantive changes to their plan, which is how I knew to even ask TForce.
I was lucky to get a competent rep who worked with me on the plan without switching me to Magenta, which then allowed me to add the free line.

Many TMO customers have better deals than I do but I am happy with what I have....

Trying to beat that deal with single-line unlimited plan with the Big Three.
You can't. Great way to get a phone. I'm surprised more don't do this. However, would be nice to get the iPhone (12 Pro Max in my case) a little cheaper when buying outright. Any idea if Apple gives any discounts on unlocked or branded phones during Black Friday or Holiday's if you pay in full? Even $100 discount would be a plus.

I've been with T-Mobile non-stop for 6+ years and have 8 voice lines that would meet the requirement. Would I be able to get the extra $200 credit PER LINE that I upgrade on this deal? Or only on one of them? Thanks.

I believe so, for now. Not sure if/when any changes may be made down the line.

It's four $200 loyalty rebates per account.
So half of your lines can be upgraded and qualify for the $200, but make sure the phones you trade in have been active for at least one day between August 2, 2020 - October 2, 2020.

Is it $200 per line if getting 2 phones? These deals seems really too good to be true. It is better than what Apple is offering.

That's because it is, you have to calculate the plans itself, T-Mobile for 30 months VS another plan.

For the majority, it won't be worth it.

this is not a deal at all esp. if you are existing customer.
there is not a single retailer or sp offering iphone 12 without bill credits. except for costco. so wait for costco promo which wont come until nov.
What is wrong with bill credits?
