Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

So, is it one loyalty credit of $200? or can you get it on multiple lines?

No trade in deals for current Android owners...meanwhile, At&t will give current customers $850 to trade in phones as old as the Pixel 3.

The heck, Tmobile?!?!

T-Mobile hasn't necessarily been that great at communicating all the details of last minute promos like this to their reps in the past. You could ask three reps and get three different answers.

Just trust the system and place your preorder on Friday and process your trade-in online.
Keep a copy of the support page for your records.
Yeah, it's annoying but I'm trying to be mindful about the fact that the phones were just announced yesterday. Need to be patient.

Thanks for the support!

Aren't you the person who ask me about the add a line deal last month? So you saying they actually allow you to add a line to that original 2+1 $100 plan?
Yes, that was me and yes, I was able to get the second free line added to my account. My TForce rep adjusted the plan code to allow the additional free line while keeping the original plan benefits like the10GB hotspot per line, which I use.

I have been a TMO customer for 17+ years so perhaps I just got lucky.

Arent these trade in values pretty bad? Especially vs the 11 pro offer?
Last month's trade in values for the iPhone 11 Pro were much better - iPhone X phone got $1000 trade in value, making the Pro free and the Pro Max $100. The iPhone 6s last month would have gotten $800 trade in. This deal does include much older iPhones so that is something....

Seems like business accounts have a different offer. Does that mean business accounts won't qualify for the regular deal listed here? I don't see business accounts excluded from it. Hoping it applies to business accounts as well

I have an iphone 4s that I haven't used in years, so I won't be able to get $200 additional rebate for it?

Where did you get below information? T-Mobile official promotion text does not mention anything about it. Does that mean if I have any spare iPhone which I was not using with T-Mobile wont be an eligible trade-in device?

"Trade in / turn-in a qualifying Apple iPhone in T-Mobile branded channels (Original iPhone through the 11 series) that was used on the network from August 2, 2020 - October 2, 2020"

So I think there is some confusion on how the bill credits work. I confirmed with T-Force (twitter) that the bill credits are for whatever is in addition to the normal trade-in value of your old phone to get you to the promotional trade-in price.

For example, I am trading in an iPhone XS Max 256GB - the trade in value of that phone is $361.

The promotional trade-in value of the iPhone XS Max is $500. I will receive $361 in a lump sum bill credit, then I will receive $139 in bill credits over 30 months, or $4.63 per month.

I originally was told by T-Force (twitter) that I can only have 1 promo on my line at a time and so if after 24 months I decide to upgrade to the next iPhone, I would lose the remaining bill credits (or $27.78). I can live with losing that $27.78 - but if I do indeed get it then even better! (based on an earlier link here which says it moves the credits off your line and to your account: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...al-credits )

If Costco does end up doing this deal for the entire amount in a rebate - it would be great, but wondering if it is worth $139 to go crazy calling various Costco's in my area and having to run over there once I find the model I want. Depending on what phone you're trading in - the value will be different though, and the "bonus" amount which is in bill credits will be different too.

Congrats. You are the first person I know that have gotten past the 2+1 $100 add additional line restriction.

Does anyone know if the trade in phone has to be a phone on your account? My wife and I are on separate accounts and her account is older than 5 years. I want to trade in an iPhone 7 that is currently active on my account on her account to take advantage of the extra $200.

this seems to be right. in 2018, for the iphone xr, the bill credits were for 36 months, and the rep confirmed that i would lose the credit from 2018 if i choose to participate in a new trade in promo
