Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible

Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

So will this deal be around when the phones are physically in stock or just during the pre order period?

It seems dumb to me that they only want to keep their five year plus customers and not their two year ones as much. I think the AT&T deal is better for me this time around.

So if i understand this promo correctly.

You get 2 discounted iphone 12/Pro but you are now stuck with the $100/month plan ?

Can you switch to Magenta or any other plans or is this the deal to get you sign up?

Oh and its ADD a line what about if your an existing customer ?
There's three deals:
  • New Customer/Add-a-line for Existing Customer
  • Trade In for Existing Customers (No Add a Line)
  • $200 Loyalty Credit for Existing Customers 5+ Years (Can be combined with at least the existing customer trade-in deal)

Can the iPhone I am trading in be locked to a different carrier? Or does it have to have been used on T-Mobile? I have an extra pre-pay iPhone 7 that is fully paid off, but locked to Simple Mobile. Thanks.

That phone is from 2011 and is no longer supported by updates. It has no value anymore.

It qualifies for $50 but not $200 since it wasn't active on the network between aug 2 - oct 2

I could get $50 for it but not the $200 rebate for 5+ years loyal customer

I was getting ready to order a new iPhone, but turns out I have only been with Tmob for 4.25 years. Will have to see what other deals crop up.

No, you will have to pay off the balance in full
Interesting. I went to the trade in page for a different phone and it says I can trade in my unpaid phone. They will just add the balance to the new phone. Maybe because I'm a longtime customer?

For the trade-in deal, probably fine.
But to get the $200 loyalty rebate, the phone needs to have been active on the T-Mobile network at least one day between 8/2-10/2.

Got it. Thank you.

Also, can I trade an iPhone from my account, but on one of my other lines? The family always does some shuffling at iPhone time (I get the new ones of course since I pay the bill, kids get "good" hand me downs) Smilie
