Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible

Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

Look at the loyalty section
Does anyone know if I can buy an iphone online and trade it in and be eligible for the deal? I only have Samsungs on our simple choice family account. There is a line here that seems to indicate otherwise:
"Have an eligible iPhone with active service associated with it for at least one day between August 2, 2020 - October 2, 2020."

Again, I am a photography enthusiast. iPhone 12 pro max is
- LARGER sensor (I have been wanting this from the phone company for YEARS)
- Wider aperature on the main shooter f/1.6, better Bokeh and low light
- LiDar supposedly may help some, although we'll have to wait and see
- Dolby HDR
- and Apple's RAW format, hopefully this does not disappoint

Regarding your comments
-My Pixel 3 XL has a massive notch. It is very annoying when you first buy it, but after 1 week, you really forget about it.
- High refresh rates - yeah they dropped the ball on this. Kinda disappointing tbh.
What's the main difference between the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max? They have the same sensor size right? But the Max has a longer telephoto?

This link was mentioned earlier in this thread - https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...al-credits

It specifically says:

"To receive Recurring Device Credits (RDC), you must purchase your device on EIP and meet any other requirements of the promotion.
You may have one Recurring Device Credits (RDC) promo per line at a time. To get a new Recurring Device Credits (RDC) promo and keep your current credit, you must pay off the existing EIP first.
If you pay off your EIP early, you'll continue to receive the promised Recurring Device Credits (RDC) as an account-level credit through the remaining months of the promotional credit period (up to 24 or 36 months)."

The key here is "To get a new RDC promo and keep your current credit..."

So there is documentation to back up that this should work. I know in practice, it may not automatically work, but there is a specific document which says this should work.
thanks for this reference

Pro Max has a 47% larger sensor, but both models have 6GB of ram.

I am going from a 7+ to the 12 Pro.. bigger screen and smaller footprint.

I wonder if you can somehow get the $200 loyalty rebate with this promo too ... I somehow doubt it, because it requires you trade in an iPhone and I'm assuming they want you to trade it into T-Mobile.

Apple is paying $340 for an XS Max, plus $150 card from T-Mobile makes this only $10 less than the $500 promo, but you don't have to deal with bill credits.

But with the loyalty rebate, you'd get an extra $200 - so unless there is a way to get the loyalty too when you buy directly from Apple, I think its better to go with T-Mobile (or Costco once we see what their offer is - supposed to be coming out tomorrow).
Can't pick both of course. I just don't want to deal with bill credits for the probability of upgrading next year with the 120hz screen Smilie

The $200 rebate is a instance visa or MasterCard card. Not the trade in value.

my frnd is T customer for 10yrs, then probably i can try with him...at least $200 will be less. .

does this work - i buy the tmbile carrier ph on apple.com without activating, then will get it activated on my friend's number,,,,,do i get $200 in this scenario??

Yep it sure does (I asked that question too!) Sorry about the line in the middle of screenshot:
this might be the better deal out of all. I've been thinking of switching to T-Mo, might switch for this.

Your current line no longer qualifies for new customer, new lines port over to your plan can though.

Where are people seeing the $150 rebate? I'd rather buy direct from Apple if it's only $15. Thanks
