Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

Why? T-Mobile integrates WiFi calling so signal strength at your house shouldn't be an issue?
My AT&T fiber internet has been down twice in the last 2 weeks for the entire day. I need to be able to tether on days like that. If not, why am I paying $137/mo for 2 lines and 1 watch with discount?

Also, their cell spot worked fine at my old house but new one wouldn't get a signal even with the wire right on the window.

Ok. I confirmed with Twitter rep the special $150 prepaid MasterCard promo when buying iPhone 12 in Apple retail store:

Perfect, thanks so much for the confirmation! In order to get this offer you would to purchase an iPhone 12 or 12 Pro at full retail price or with using apple financing either in a retail store or on http://Apple.com and you would also need to trade in an iPhone 8 or newer and I have the models listed down below for you.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max
iPhone SE 2020

Yes, the bottom line is that you have to be a new customer in order to qualify the deal, now I'm not sure how long you will be considered a new customer but I have been told by the store rep that it's 30 days, after that you're a regular customer.

Thanks for doing the math on this. The SE1 is one of the phones I plan to trade in for the Mini when that becomes available. Combined with loyalty bonus I am thrilled with this offer since the SE1 phones have virtually no value and haven't been accepted as a trade-in in ages. I will do another trade-in with a 6 - another phone with very little value so these current trade-in deals are a rare bonus for anyone with older iPhones.
Have those phones been active on T-Mobile for at least a day between 8/2-10/2? That's one of the requirements for the $200 loyalty rebate.

Well I did the math for my own use and assuming I would be paying phone service for 30 months on t mobile, get $680 credits for iphone 8 + port in excluding taxes I would be paying $600 ~ for the iphone 12 pro best case scenario, worst case almost $1000 ish.

I feel like it would be better to wait a bit. Come on costco

It's a YMMV situation when it's not written in terms anywhere.

I never have luck with Costco stores in my area as they don't have the phone in stock

Yeah I don't expect a whole lot. Maybe I might be able to get a better price a month later on Black Friday. I might as well just sell my iphone 8 , and keep using my older phone.

Yes, they have been and still are active phones on my account.
Due to a hand injury, I need a smaller handset, hence the SE1 (and my excitement about the new Mini).
The 6 is an active secondary line that I use for kayaking, cycling, etc...

A rare bonus for being an iPhone dinosaur I guess.Smilie

That's not true, I opened my lines on the 17th and I was able to get the S20 FE deal because I was still a new customer!
Yeah, I think different circumstances. He said he activated 26 days ago, basically same time you joined, but it's now outside of the 14 day buyer's remorse period. BTW, which line(s) did you get the new S20FE on? Was thinking ok on lines 1,2, or free 3rd, but not on extra free 4th line if you got that as that promo ended day before FE pre-order. As I see it, during buyer's remorse they "cancel" the new line and then "reactivate it as new" to make it happen . Just curious if your situation was by the book or YMMV.
On a side note, a guy from Exec. office told me that my free line (expired promo) was still ok to upgrade with any phone deal that was active when that line was activated, even though it was well after 30 days active when I spoke with him.

Initially my plan was to get the bring-your-own-device $250 promotion then the s20fe deal came after Two weeks so I decided to take that deal. My case it was not an upgrade, it was considered as a new customer, and yes I have 3 free lines all of them qualified the deal. The representative said that I can get the deal and port my numbers within 30 days after that you're not a new customer anymore. As others mentioned earlier there's no written rule about this ans some representatives might even deny you to get the deal while others will do for you.

That is my understanding as well.
And both of my older phones - SE1 and 6 - have been and still are active on my account.

T Mobile hits you with the overpriced required Magenta plans
Umm. What? Overpriced? Compared to what? I pay $30 per line for magenta. And the deal I just saw for new customers was truly amazing. 2 pros. With unlimited for $100/month even. How is that overpriced. Especially for only a 2 line plan?
