Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible
Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...
Hoping for iPhone 12 Mini promos.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you can pay off this device early, and you should continue to get the month credits for the 30 months...

Well I won't bother doing that then. Might try talking to someone in person. The deal really isn't worth it to me without the loyalty discount.
small print says max of 4 per account.

Many reps are completely clueless.
Even T-Mobile's press release say you can combine:

https://www.t-mobile.com/news/dev...-series-5g

Quote :
Get two iPhone 12 Pros AND two new lines of unlimited 5G data for just $100/month on Essentials when trading in two eligible devices.

Get up to $850 off any new iPhone 12 model with bill credits when adding a line and trading or turning in an eligible device.

Get up to HALF OFF the iPhone 12 Pro… or up to $500 off any new iPhone 12 series with 30 monthly bill credits when trading or turning in an eligible device.

Plus, customers who have been with T-Mobile, including Sprint, for 5+ years can get a $200 rebate on any new iPhone when they trade or turn in any active iPhone on an eligible plan. This can be combined with the $500 off deal.

make sense, and the loyalty offer is as a rebate, so submit rebate as soon we get the new phone. right?

I've been with TMOBILE for a couple years now.

After 10 years left att and cut my phone bill in half with more features and phone lines.

30 months isn't an issue for me.
My comment was not meant as being an issue. Your comment seems to imply that the after you paid off the phone with T-Mobile it will be same as the Apple deal. I'm simply stating that it isn't as you will have to live out the whole 30 months to see a return of this deal, whereas the Apple deal is completed as soon as you paid it off. You can then move to another deal if you so desire. But with T-Mobile deal it won't ever be the case.

So it this case if you can do the Apple deal and it is within a $100 or so difference I would definitely take the Apple deal. Assuming you have a qualify phone

I have 6 lines of Simple Choice, and when I tried to add a line with an iPhone 8 trade in, the T-Mobile website showed the monthly cost of $25 instead of $10 for the new line. Why the discrepancy? The SC plan details state $10 a month for extra lines.

I think that's the only way you'll get the credits. Not sure what happens if you leave

Yes that's true. I didn't think about that but also in my specific case a non issue.

I wonder how much of a headache it would be to cancel everything and go through Apple.

I wasn't planning on leaving, but what happens if I want to upgrade to a different phone after 20 months? I can pay off this phone and purchase a new one somewhere else and still add it to the line while continuing to get the other 10 months of credit from current trade in with this offer?

What about it is wrong?
Your line has two EIPs attached to it that aren't paid off?
