Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible
Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...
Hoping for iPhone 12 Mini promos.

I also have Simple Choice, will this promotion work?
I just called a rep and they told me my Simple Choice would not work...this is very frustrating not knowing.

The keyword there in that section is "upgraded" which assumed you upgraded your existing line. If I for example upgrade an existing line to the iPhone 12 and want to use the SIM card that comes with the new phone, I could move my phone number from the old SIM to the new SIM card, but it doesn't swap a phone number between two different lines.
Got it. Adding a line and canceling an old line would require losing the old number. Thanks for the clarification.

Rep was mistaken. This promo has no plan requirement language.

Thanks for posting. Is Costco's also bill credits or can you pay it all off?

Also, just to confirm, do they offer the $200 loyalty discount as well? Thanks!
Yes Costco $200 loyality as well. Essentially they are just copying Tmobile.

I would agree, so far Simple Choice qualifies for vast majority if not all the promos in recent years. The one plan that often gets excluded is Select Choice, so maybe the rep was thinking that.

Can they do tiers instead. For someone who's been with them for 15 years gets a better price etc?

Is it worth it to trade in an iPhone XS Max with 256GB for $500 trade in credit?

Can you transfer a number from mint and qualify for "new line" discount?

Call again. I just did with Simple choice.

Pre-ordered iPhone 12 64GB/Blue - $830/30 months
Less : Trade-in iPhone XR - $415 ($196 one-time bill credit + $219/30 months)
Less: Eligible for $200 loyalty gift card (I have to apply for when I get the new phone as the form needs the IMEI of the purchased phone)

Just paid tax about $55 where I'm from. They initially added a $20 support fee because I called them but asked if they can waive it, which they did.

Expected 10/23 (we'll see)

There are a lot of comments, and I'm not sure I want to try to sift through all of them. Is there significant reason to get the 12 pro vs the 12? I pre-ordered the 12 pro and am trading in my 8plus. After the $200 rebate it will cost me $120 before taxes. We added a line, because we are buying our son a phone for Christmas anyways. Should I save the $120 and get a 12 instead, or even save just a little less and get the 12 with more gb? In the end I know it's up to me, but my husband isn't into this kind of stuff (new phones, deals, etc.) so I have no one to give me good feedback about this purchase. Thanks!

Recommendation is to get the 12 Pro if you're a photo/video enthusiast because of the better cameras. Or if you like the premium stainless steel finish.

Otherwise the 12 is more than sufficient for most people.

Small crack on the back of my XS (back glass). I can't find anything about the back of the phone making it illegible. Any ideas if it wouldn't qualify?
I have the same issue with my 8plus. In store I was told it would qualify, on the phone I was told it would not. I'm thinking of taking mine in store to get the deal.

I hope Apple ups their current XS($300)/XS Max($370) trade in offer. I'd much rather go that route over this 30 month bill credit aka contract BS!
That's exactly what I am going to do... buy an unlocked 12ProMax 256GB and trade in my 256GB XS-Max. I know $370 is lower than I can get on Swapp or another "sell site" but this way it's over and done with and I don't have to wait around for to "hope to sell" and not have any buyer issues. Who wants 30-months.... that seems insane to me.

Thanks for your input!
I have 6 kids I like to take photos and videos of, but I'm not a photographer/videographer by any means.
