10 bucks cheaper than the Schlage FP deal. They look comparable as far as I can tell. Is one better than the other though?

I'd been looking for a deal on this. Wasn't sure about paying $100 extra for wifi so I went Z-wave since I use Smartthings. Got the same one as above, but with the "Valdosta Lever". It cost only $30 more and there's no way I'm going to buy a decent quality door handle for $30 anyway so I bought the package.

I'd imagine some more deals similar to this for Black Friday. People are spending money on their homes more due to pandemic and stuff like this is going to be popular and catch eyeballs when shopping.

I got the schlage one because it supposedly has better locking mechanism and the internals can be re-keyed or upgraded as needed. I'm not a lock expert though, but that was my reason for going with schlage vs take yesterday.

Does this setup needs a Hub to control with Alexa?

I've had two Schlage touchcreen deadbolts die within three years. Schlage did not honor their "lifetime" warranty, claiming they don't warranty the electronics, just the locking mechanism. I'd go with the Yale.

Same here. My touchpad stopped working recently out of nowhere and Schlage won't do anything.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Ring alarm base can act as a z-wave hub so you wouldn't need an additional hub if you already have the ring alarm base.

The amazon version (Zigbee) often go on sale for ~$60. If you really need the Z-wave, the module is $40 @ Lowe's. This lock has interchangeable modules to allow Zigbee/Z-wave/HomeKit/WiFi connection.

I'd go for Schlage for front door which is what I did. I have Yale for my garage entrance.
