A bit of a PSA for anyone curious:
There is currently separate DLC for this game ("The Isle of Armor") and one more major DLC drop to come on October 22nd ("The Crown Tundra"). I believe the expansion pass is $30 at the eShop on top of the base game price.
Once all DLC has been released, they're planning to re-release both Sword and Shield games with all the expansion content included. The release date for the re-release is November 6th.
If this is your kid's first Pokemon game, I'd suggest Let's Go Pikachu. If they're already familiar with the series, either is great, but Sw/Sh definitely has more content/after game stuff plus the DLC (should you choose to purchase it separately). I personally prefer Sw/Sh, but I'm a 37 year old nerd so.
Hope this helps!

No.
Look like it had already been confirmed. I'm so behind on gaming news.

Sword and Shield. I have let's go evvee. After beating it, there's not much to do. It's takes like 30 hours to beat, not even maybe less

Yeah, that's what I meant but the link didn't come through very well. You can select it as an option on Amazon from that link I shared, available November 6, taking pre-orders.
Understood. Good thing we have choices
