2500 Still in stock. Thank you OP. I missed the BPS deal as well. I have never had a Stradic. Can anyone compare this to the Daiwa BG? I know the BG is a size larger.

I use less expensive Shimanos these days but did wearout two white Stradics back in the day. Great reels if ya need high end stuff.

have both. BG is more robust, I dunk mines in the surf ALL THE TIME and they still perform like new. Equivalent sized Stradic is definitely 'smoother', and I save mine for freshwater use only, wouldn't dare to dunk 'em.
