It's their smallest battery capacity, doesn't offer inflation, either. And the LiON battery packs keep getting better. If you can swing a few extra bucks Tacklife has a battery pack and inflator that pairs with it. The battery pack I have (T8 Peak) is awesome.

You want 1000 amps or higher. I have the 700amp version of this and good luck strating a dead battery in the cold.

Junk.

Had a new one sitting in garage for a while, and when I needed it, it let me down. Stored topped off. Showed fully charged (3/3 led's lit), tried turning the vehicle (4 cylinder), only got like 2 cranks. Not enough juice. Charger indicator dropped to 1 LED. Tried fully charging it again. Same result. Low quality battery that becomes shot easily in these things.

I have had the model with the tire inflator. It sucks. Get the model without it, and buy a separate inflator.

I have this one:

A lot more money, but I bought this after asking a AAA driver what he used:

I have this brand. The 1000 amp with a tire inflator. The tire inflator worked well but it never was able to jump my car. Now 3 years later the battery doesent charge anymore.

These types of charger don't last. I had a Husky (HD) version, works for a while then no more charge and it goes into recycling That's my take. I also have a small Husky battery charger for 10 plus yers and it works like the day it was new but of course that's for the driveway or garage.

I'll second the Clore Automotive Jump-N-Carry JNC660 1700 Peak Amp 12 Volt Jump Starter @ https://www.amazon.com/Clore-Auto...143&sr=8-3 [amazon.com]. This is also the same unit that the tow truck driver that jumped by truck last night used.

Don't bother with these old school lead acid battery type jump starters, get the Lithium power bank ones instead.

Is this a lead-acid battery based charger?

Then definitely pass. Unless you are committed to periodically conditioning the battery, it will go bad sitting around and then you have garbage (price of a replacement battery is more than it's worth).

As others have stated, get a Lithium Ion based starter instead.

This underpowered thing couldn't wake a pining Norwegian Blue, let alone a dead parrot. Note that I have the 1000, which is the bare minimum needed. For a car. Or a parrot.

Bought one of the Stanley models with the tire inflator maybe 5-6 years ago, it's junk. Never once managed to start my Outback. The tire inflator worked well, though. I'm looking for a quality lithium one this year, they've come a long way recently.
