I really hate to spend money on video game accessories, but if your kids play Fortnite and enjoy impressing their friends with their Fortnite accessories, thIs is what they want for Christmas! I've never found the V-Bucks gift cards on sale before, not sure how often they are "on sale." Best Buy has them for 20% off right now.
I opted for the $40 V-Bucks card, which gives them 5000 V-Bucks. Also, if you have multiple children who play, apparently if you put the v-bucks on one account, that person can "gift" items to their friends. My kids have also learned to wait for package "deals" that the game offers, so they can figure out their most bang per v-buck. (I guess they are learning a little bit about personal finance, anyway.

FYI: Walmart and Target both have the $100 card for $80 if you have a red card.

Also, I believe there might be a discount on the cards at Game Stop, but I couldn't buy them online. Stores get sold out of them, again because gift-givers want the physical gift card.
