Up to 50% Bonus Value on APPLE Products ( iphone , airpods, etc) When Redeeming Chase Sapphire Freedom and Ink Ultimate Rewards (10/15-11/15)

For example, if you buy a $600 iPhone through the Ultimate Rewards portal, it would typically cost 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points, but it'll now cost just 40,000 points for Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

That's the same as getting 33% off in the above example!

In time for the iphone 12?

The bonus is broken down as follows:

Sapphire Reserve: 50% bonus
Sapphire Preferred: 25% bonus
INK Preferred/Plus: 25% bonus
Freedom cards and the no-fee Sapphire card: 5% bonus (20% on Airpods)
Ink Cash/Unlimited: 5% bonus (20% on Airpods)

For example, if you buy a $600 iPhone through the Ultimate Rewards portal, it would typically cost 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points, but it'll now cost just 40,000 points for Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

UPDATED STRATEGY (please double check)

a) Buy Apple gift cards from grocery (eg Kroger, Stop and Shop, Shop and Stop) using Chase Freedom Flex using Paypal....if they take Paypal (for 5% with Paypal rotating category; don't forget to pre-register at Chase for the 5%)
b) Then use Apple gift cards to buy Apple product at Apple directly but don't pay full amount of item (eg iphone) with gift cards. WARNING: You lose the extended warranty protection offered by your credit card as it will only cover the amount charged to the card. see below

"If You have substantiated Your claim and met the terms and conditions of the benefit, Your item will be replaced or repaired at the Benefit Administrator's discretion for no more than the original purchase price of the covered item as recorded on Your credit card receipt, less shipping and handling fees, up to a maximum of ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars per claim and a maximum of fifty thousand ($50,000.00) dollars per Account. You will be reimbursed up to the amount charged to Your Account or the program limit, whichever is less. Any purchases made using rewards points associated with the Account are eligible for this benefit, and You will only be reimbursed up to the dollar amount to replace or repair the item or the program limit, whichever is less"

c) Get the 50% CSR bonus (or 25% CSP) on Pay Yourself Back PYB) towards general grocery store purchases (not related to the Apple gift card). PYB for "grocery stores and dining at restaurants (including takeout & eligible delivery services), home improvement stores and select charitable organizations"

Also,
Place your cell phone plan service charge on Freedom Flex so you get free cell phone insurance that covers cracked screens etc. that are not covered under the Apple manufacturer and the credit card extended warranty

Can you still redeem points if you don't have a Chase credit card?
Just curious...... How do you think you'd do that?
