Up to 50% Bonus Value on APPLE Products ( iphone , airpods, etc) When Redeeming Chase Sapphire Freedom and Ink Ultimate Rewards (10/15-11/15)

For example, if you buy a $600 iPhone through the Ultimate Rewards portal, it would typically cost 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points, but it'll now cost just 40,000 points for Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

That's the same as getting 33% off in the above example!

In time for the iphone 12?

The bonus is broken down as follows:

Sapphire Reserve: 50% bonus
Sapphire Preferred: 25% bonus
INK Preferred/Plus: 25% bonus
Freedom cards and the no-fee Sapphire card: 5% bonus (20% on Airpods)
Ink Cash/Unlimited: 5% bonus (20% on Airpods)

For example, if you buy a $600 iPhone through the Ultimate Rewards portal, it would typically cost 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points, but it'll now cost just 40,000 points for Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

UPDATED STRATEGY (please double check)

a) Buy Apple gift cards from grocery (eg Kroger, Stop and Shop, Shop and Stop) using Chase Freedom Flex using Paypal....if they take Paypal (for 5% with Paypal rotating category; don't forget to pre-register at Chase for the 5%)
b) Then use Apple gift cards to buy Apple product at Apple directly but don't pay full amount of item (eg iphone) with gift cards. WARNING: You lose the extended warranty protection offered by your credit card as it will only cover the amount charged to the card. see below

"If You have substantiated Your claim and met the terms and conditions of the benefit, Your item will be replaced or repaired at the Benefit Administrator's discretion for no more than the original purchase price of the covered item as recorded on Your credit card receipt, less shipping and handling fees, up to a maximum of ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars per claim and a maximum of fifty thousand ($50,000.00) dollars per Account. You will be reimbursed up to the amount charged to Your Account or the program limit, whichever is less. Any purchases made using rewards points associated with the Account are eligible for this benefit, and You will only be reimbursed up to the dollar amount to replace or repair the item or the program limit, whichever is less"

c) Get the 50% CSR bonus (or 25% CSP) on Pay Yourself Back PYB) towards general grocery store purchases (not related to the Apple gift card). PYB for "grocery stores and dining at restaurants (including takeout & eligible delivery services), home improvement stores and select charitable organizations"

Also,
Place your cell phone plan service charge on Freedom Flex so you get free cell phone insurance that covers cracked screens etc. that are not covered under the Apple manufacturer and the credit card extended warranty

As the rumors are floating on the internet, production of Apple products is really slow this time and supply got delay due to it. Since Apple is outsourcing the iPhone from China, it may take couple of more weeks than usual every year.

We all are in same boat and frustration but same time need to understand that Apple will not be in profit by putting the stake of it's brand name.

Shall receive with 4-6 weeks of order date.

My 12 pro shipped right around the 6 week mark, so I would assume the mini will hold similar and hopefully ship by Friday.

Just got shipping notification in email! Wow 1 days shy of 6 weeks mark. My mini is departing Shanghai China and enroute to US via Fedex international priority. Not sure how long it takes but I am hopeful it'll arrive just in time for Xmas. Thanks to all those replied/advised! It's a bit wait but Apple did deliver to it's commit of 6 weeks.

Just start receiving service alerts from FedEx, USPS and UPS about the winter storm. Considering 15th Nov as the last date of this deal, I hope everyone should receive their packages before 31st Dec to come under 6 weeks commitment by Chase-Apple.

Fingers-crossed and good luck!

....jjuuust got the shipping notification with 12 hours to spare for the 6-week mark on my Pro Max. Coming directly from the plant in ZhengZhou, China. Even if it did take six weeks, I've got to hand it to them for sticking to their word. Well done Apple!

Hmm, it just dawned on me and I feel pretty f'ing terrible for being frustrated with the shipping delay. These iPhones are shipping directly from the Foxconn factory in ZhengZhou at the last possible moment.....I can only imagine the pressure and conditions those poor workers are under just so we can get our phones for xmas. You know Apple is upset that Foxconn isn't meeting deadlines.....that pressure bears directly down to the wellbeing of the hardworking ZhengZhou factory worker and their families.

This is really a really tough existential question:
1. Do you reduce consumerism and also remove paying jobs for the people in ZhengZhou via less demand
2. Do you allow consumerism to continue and create terrible working conditions and high stress 18 hour day-labor jobs.

In my life experiences, most of the uneducated factory workers WANT 18 hour work days (not our union 8 hour work days....except for maybe some folks living in the Shanghai's of the world) to save money for family, pay for illnesses, etc.

Spending my xmas with a bottle of whiskey and watching American Factory on Netflix with my new Foxconn iPhone. Maybe I'll read the Tragic Sense of Life for New Years.
