The Build quality is superior and this is full metal as suggested by Dell.

For me, it's worth it. I work in IT, and run my own domain at home as well, so.... It does come with Bitlocker too, so if you're looking for drive encryption without a subscription...
I'm pretty happy with it. I would say this is on par with the 4500u/4700u, as I'm able to game Borderlands 2 at about 45fps on 1080p and close to 60fps at 900p with the Iris Xe. Borderlands 3 is playable at ~30FPS at 720p which isn't bad. I'm guessing benchmarks for the 4700u are probably better but not by much. I upgraded to this laptop as I was tired of messing with AMD RyzenADJ software and liked something that just worked from the get go. Haven't tested as many games as I'd like yet, but lots of older games like Portal 2, Black Mesa, Flame in the Flood all ran perfectly smooth at 60+fps/1080p.
I'd say the only drawback is that it doesn't have room for a 2.5" HD which I'd like to use for Steam games etc.
