- The Type-C Port is a full Spec Type C port, supporting 10 Gbps Data, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Power Delivery. So, Type-C Charging is supported but it comes with a normal Barrel Pin Charger.
- DP 1.4 supports 4K@120 Hz, 5K@60 Hz. So, if you buy a Type-C Hub or Dock with DP 1.4 and MST (Multi Stream Protocol) with multiple 4K supported Display Out, you can run two 4K Monitors @ 60 Hz. Example is https://www.amazon.com/QGeeM-Dock...B0823BQ4

The screen, chassis and footprint look very similar. I'd recommend the product. I'm not so sure about the price as the 3500 last year was $400. It also had 8GB of RAM, but a 1TB spinner and 128gb SSD (which I believe is NVMe). I do not believe it had a USB-C port with PD as this one does, but it did include a USB-C port for data transfer. I'm debating between the two. Trying to get a new laptop for my wife and am torn.
